Chiller Films’ next original film, The Monkey’s Paw, is making its way to the big screen on October 11th and IndieWire has premiered both the trailer and one-sheet.

Husk director Brett Simmons directed this take on W.W. Jacobs’ classic tale.

The film centers on Jake Tilton (Thomason), who acquires a mystical “monkey’s paw” talisman that grants its possessor three wishes and finds his world upside down after his first two wishes result in his co-worker Tony Cobb (Lang) being resurrected from the dead. When Cobb pressures Jake into using hte final wish to reunite Cobb with his son, his intimidation quickly escalates into relentless murder — forcing Jake to outwit his psychotic friend and save his remaining loved ones.

October 7, 2013 – Pelham, NY – The Picture House Regional Film Center announced today that it will show an exclusive area premiere of Chiller Film’s newest original film, ‘The Monkey’s Paw’ on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 8:30 p.m.   A Q&A with SyFy Channel and ChillerTV executive Tom Vitale, Lead Actress Michelle Pierce and the film’s Producer ROss Otterman will take place immediately after the screening.

Directed by Brett Simons, this take on W.W.
