JOINT SCREENING OF SCREENAGERS – GROWING UP IN THE DIGITAL AGE
Join Pelham PACT, Pelham Community Cares, The PMS PTA and The PMHS PTA for a joint spring Town Hall event on Tuesday, March 14, at 7:30pm at The Picture House. We will be screening the award-winning documentary Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age (http://www.screenagersmovie.com/), followed by a panel discussion. This FREE event is sponsored by PACT, Pelham Community Cares Center, Pelham Middle School, and Pelham Memorial High School. A special thanks to The Picture House for providing the space for this event.
Screenagers, which came out in 2016, looks at the way digital media has impacted family life—including the director’s own—and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists, solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.
Plan to attend this FREE event on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:30pm at The Picture House. Visit http://pelhampact.org/screenagers-2017/ for more information.
