Documentary Filmmaking Intensive: Telling Local Storeis

5 Day Documentary Workshop for High School Students July 20th - 24th 11am - 4pm Bronxville Picture House and offsite filming locations Join us for an inspiring, hands-on documentary filmmaking intensive designed for high school students eager to tell real-world stories through film. Over five immersive days, students will learn the fundamentals of documentary storytelling—including story development, research, interviewing techniques, cinematography, and editing—while collaborating to produce a short documentary spotlighting EVAC, the volunteer EMS service that supports the Bronxville–Eastchester–Tuckahoe community. Working as a production team, participants will gain practical experience behind and in front of the camera, develop critical thinking and storytelling skills, and explore how film can illuminate the people and organizations that shape our local community. Supported by The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe.PT5H2026-07-20Documentary Filmmaking Intensive: Telling Local Storeis"Documentary Filmmaking Intensive: Telling Local Storeis"
