The Picture House Regional Film Center is thrilled to announce REEL WILD™ NEW YORK, a three-day showcase of extraordinary wildlife films and interactive programming for audiences of all ages. Presented in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), this special event will take place October 23 and 25 at The Picture House Bronxville. Over three days, audiences will enjoy six remarkable films that showcase wildlife stories from around the world - from the rhino sanctuaries of South Africa to the windswept deserts of Namibia and the magical waters of the Galapagos. With filmmaker conversations, expert Q&As, and hands-on activities for kids, the program is designed to inspire the whole family. Thanks to a generous grant from WCS, all screenings and activities are free and open to the public. About WCS and REEL WILD NEW YORK
At the Wildlife Conservation Society, our mission is to protect wildlife and wild places. Over the past decade, WCS proudly served as a founding partner of the New York WILD Film Festival that connected people to nature through impactful storytelling. This year, at the beginning of Earth Month 2025, we’re excited to introduce REEL WILD ™ NEW YORK, a festival showcasing independent filmmakers who share our commitment to conservation and bringing viewers closer to the awesome and fragile beauty of our planet. At WCS, we believe that film can be more than entertainment – it’s a catalyst for change. This year’s curated screenings and our return to a juried festival in 2026 will bring the WILD to New York City, igniting conversations and actions aligned with our mission.
