Join The Picture House for a fun and inspiring five-week introductory course where you'll learn how to create your very own comic book from start to finish. From character design and world-building to writing and publishing, every step of the creative process will be covered. Led by professional comic book writer and Bronxville native Todd Matthy, this course is perfect for aspiring artists and storytellers. Open to middle and high school students of all experience levels - no prior drawing or writing skills required! About the Instructor: Todd Matthy is the writer and creator of Robots vs. Princesses for Dynamite Comics and the current writer of Odyssey: New Dawn from TidalWave Comics. A graduate of Bronxville High School, Todd’s credits also include Toybox Guardians (Antarctic Press), Serpiente: El Cielo (Ethos Comics), musical biographies for Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, and Rush, and Tales from the Aurora on Webtoon.
