UnBroken: Hosted by the Weber Family Arts Foundation (Featuring Q&A with Director Beth Lane)

The daughter of a Holocaust survivor embarks on an international quest to uncover answers about the plight of her mother and her six siblings who, as mere children, escaped Nazi Germany relying solely on their own youthful bravado and the kindness of German strangers. Director Beth Lane, a former Pelham resident, presents her debut film UnBroken as a powerful response to hate—a cinematic bridge-builder rooted in truth and humanity. More than a film, UnBroken is Lane’s spiritual confession, inviting audiences to stretch the often-neglected muscles of empathy, compassion and hope. "..I’m especially excited to bring UnBroken home to Pelham—where my husband and I bought our first house, and where we began our family… our eldest son became a Bar Mitzvah in Pelham! To return with this film, in this moment, to the community where our own story started, feels incredibly full-circle—and deeply personal.” Hosted by the Weber Family Arts Foundation, this event invites audiences to bear witness to a miraculous true survival story — and to join a broader mission of empathy and resistance against modern-day hate.DramaPT1H37M2025-11-09
